Rooted in Coast Salish Lands & Waters Hosted by the Biocultural Corridor & Ancestral FoodWays Collective 

 

Join us for a powerful day of cultural resurgence, community connection, and deep grounding as we Awaken the Pole—carved by John Spence, Squamish artist, carver, and board member of Ancestral FoodWays. 

When: Saturday, May 31st at 12:00 PM 

Where: Strathcona Park, 857 Talking Ave (Vancouver, unceded Coast Salish territories) 

What to Expect: Drumming, storytelling, cultural sharing, and a beautiful community meal. Lunch will be provided!
